My Life as Liz is a mockumentary style American television series that centers on the life of Liz Lee, a misfit high-school senior living in small town Texas. The series debuted on MTV on January 18, 2010. The first season finale aired on March 8, 2010. Filming for the second season began early 2010 in New York City, mostly at Pratt Institute, the college which series star Liz Lee attends. During the My Life As Liz marathon that aired on December 27, 2010, MTV previewed the season 2 trailer and officially confirmed that season two would premiere on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 11:00 PM EST. MTV's January 24 press release confirmed that Season 2 would have 12 episodes. The series was not renewed for a third season, and the series finale aired on May 3, 2011.
Liz's dream of taking her senior year by the horns is sabotaged when she's forced to spend the last days of summer with Taylor Terry--Burleson High's perfect blond specimen of popularity. But the experience ends up changing both girls in ways they could never imagine...or does it?
Liz unexpectedly receives a dozen carnations from a secret admirer and goes on a mission to find out who they're from. Was it really Bryson, that cute guy who sits behind her in English class? Hopefully she'll manage to dodge the claws of her arch-nemesis Cori Cooper long enough to find out.
Determined to stand up for her fellow geeks and take back the talent show from the popular kids, Liz decides to enter the contest in the name of nerds everywhere. But when the going gets tough and Liz's enemy, Cori Cooper, goes on the warpath, it seems that Liz's crush, Bryson, is the only one who can save her.

Taylor must choose between friends when she invites Liz to an exclusive party and Sully contemplates telling Liz his true feelings for her.
Liz goes all-out when she decides to ask Bryson to go to prom with her.
Prom is here and the school is buzzing. Liz tries to keep her focus on having a good time with her date, but Bryson insists on getting her attention. But a surprising interaction with Cori sets the night further on its head as Liz struggles to put the madness of senior year behind her.
The end of senior year has finally arrived, but so many things are unresolved. Will Liz break free and to move to New York City like she's always dreamed? Will Bryson finally tell Liz how he feels?
