In 13-year-old Aoba Tsuzaki's world, everything seems normal. An over-the-top modeling fanatic, she spends her days locked in her room, happily building plastic robots. But rumbling beneath the surface, an evil enemy of mankind (the Ancient Jinki) threatens to destroy the Earth.
Aoba manages to escape after being kidnapped and discovers the Jinki.
Aoba learns about the Angel and begins training to pilot the Moribito.
Aoba learns more about Akao and is introduced to the Angel team.
Aoba learns she has a rival in Rui, who wants to pilot the Moribito too.
The past of Kokushou and Genta is revealed.
Kouse sends Shizuka to battle Aoba - but will the friends be able to battle?
Akao decides to use her power to help Angel.
For some reason, Shiva and Akana try reaching out to Akao.
Mel J. Vanette arrives to seek vengeance against J. Harn of the Hachishoujin.
Akao is captured by the Kyomu.
Aoba returns to Angel and confronts Shiva.
Kyomu's Shiva, along with the brainwashed Akao, take on Aoba Tsuzak and Angel in a battle to the death.
The members of Angel go separate ways.
